Today, many people think of Germans as Europe’s engineers. They seem to be a very mathematical people and they seem to have a "no bs, get it done" attitude as well. Could these and other cultural factors have influenced Germany’s almost frightening military prowess throughout the ages?
Background:
July 1870 - France declares war on Prussia (Germany). Five months later, Prussian troops march into Paris. This conflict is known today as the Franco-Prussian war.
1914 - The German Empire declares war on Russia and France and invades Belgium and Luxembourg and France’s precious industrial region. This was the beginning of World War I, the war in which the German Empire, almost completely without foreign aid, fought Russia, France, and Great Britain very nearly to the breaking point. Over the course of the war, Germany invaded and occupied a large chunk of France, all of Belgium, all of Luxembourg, most of Romania, and (then controlled by the Russian empire) Belarus, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Moldova.
1939 - The German Army invades Poland. In the following four years, German troops take over 80% of Europe. This is World War II.
They’re like the Sparta of Europe. They’re very "by-the-book" and hard. It definitely gave them an upper hand against at least some of their enemies. By the time of WW2, I think France had become very tired of war, having experienced centuries of it as a common people, and England was at the end of its prime, whereas Germany was still freshly invigorated by its national unification in 1871. Young countries buck hard; I think that’s why America acts like a teenager.

How competative is it to become an Air Battle Manager or Air Force Navigator?
Im just curious on how competitive to apply to those positions are. I had a friend in the AFROTC who told me they had a 100% selection rate for CSOs(navigators)..because only 2 people applied and they were both over 3.5GPA…among other things
Im pretty sure…90% of all AFROTC cadets..always ask to become a pilot…how many usually ask for ABM or CSO?
Also how strict is the flight physical for ABM and CSO…i was told its nowhere near as strict as for a pilot slot…but its still rough…
Also im just curious to know…i was told the USAF is known for its slowest promotions rates…but i was told..that all flight career job officers..which is pilot, ABM, and CSO…they get promoted faster…is that true?

My periods never come, is there something wrong with my ovaries?
I started my period in October 2008 when I was 14, i’m 16 now and my periods are still incredibly irregular. At first they came every like every 2 months, then they started to be more regular, like three weeks late each time
and sometimes they’ll come exactly 28 days later. But I haven’t had my period since late October, and it’s February now…and surely they can’t still be irregular if i’ve had them for more than two years?

I’ve been flying by being all happy that i don’t get periods often but then i suddenly started worrying that there might be something wrong?

well my ex girl friend didnt have any periods for three years because of her weight. maybe you dont have enough to eat or some thing. because if ya dont have enough to eat then it will become irregular or even stop(hence my ex girl friend)

Periods are always irregular mine became a little regular but ever since i’ve been dieting they’ve become irregular again like i had my period on christmas day 2009 (the worst present i ever got lol!) i missed out on my period in january and on the first of this month ive got it. late periods are very annoying and when you’ve missed one it makes your heart jump, i wouldn’t say that there is anything wrong with you…you’re perfectly normal. xxx

3 things to check. 1. You have to be in a healthy body weight in order to have your period. (not to skinny). 2. Stress and your Diet can throw your periods timing around. 3. Some of us just have strange bodies. Some women will get a bi monthly period, some will get it heavy, some will get it on the same day every month, and some will have a very light period.
If you work out alot it can throw off your period as well. The easiest solution is to go and consult a doctor. All pediatricians are trained on things of this nature.

Sounds like you may have polysitic ovarian syndrome. You dont periods for months at a time with this. I have it myself. Ask your dr. to check you out.

hi honey, well i use to have the same problem and one day i learnt from a great doctor that when you press just opposite side off your right hand thumb nail using a pen six times and repeat this as often as you can and you can have your period back, i did not believed it but then i tried it myself and within 3 days i had my period back, the doctor said that when we pinch the tip of the flesh of our right hand thumb a stimulation occurs in our mind and thus our cell Begin’s to work properly, hope this will also work for you, i did not had my period for 5-7 years but started to have it as i did what i mentioned above.

Deep Overbite caused by trauma?
I have a deep overbite that I am looking to get corrected, and my question is can a deep overbite be caused by blunt trauma to the maxillary at an early age? When I was about 4-5 I tried to jump over the steering handle in the cockpit of a sailboat (don’t ask why, I couldn’t tell you), my foot caught it, and I hit my upper lip on the corner of the seat pretty hard. The impact was right on my frontal maxillary, and I’m wondering if that caused my upper incisors to over erupt?
Overbites are not caused by trauma; you are born that way and can get progressively worse as you get older.

It looks like, both the sides are silent on one point. Who were Muslims before accepting Islam?. Our forefathers were Hindus and hardly any one of us can trace our roots back to the Persian and Mongolian invaders.
Islam came through Arab traders and not by the invaders. Let us be proud of our Hindu heritage, instead of trying to sweep it under the carpet. Hinduism is a shield for us against Taliban’s, fatwas, Islamic jurisprudence, hudood ordinance etc. We, Indian Muslims, hide behind Hinduism when it is convenient for us but never say thanks or give anything back in return.
