Deep Overbite caused by trauma?
I have a deep overbite that I am looking to get corrected, and my question is can a deep overbite be caused by blunt trauma to the maxillary at an early age? When I was about 4-5 I tried to jump over the steering handle in the cockpit of a sailboat (don’t ask why, I couldn’t tell you), my foot caught it, and I hit my upper lip on the corner of the seat pretty hard. The impact was right on my frontal maxillary, and I’m wondering if that caused my upper incisors to over erupt?
Overbites are not caused by trauma; you are born that way and can get progressively worse as you get older.

I need some advice, I may be stupid but I think…?
I really like this girl. We both share the same viewpoints, she is smart, and pretty, and everything a guy would be lucky to have.
We are pretty good friends.
I don’t know, it almost looks as if she likes me. I have a tough time believing this however because she is so much better than me(looks wise)
She stares at me whenever we talk. She is just focused on my eyes, as if I was the only one there. We were in a group of four yesterday. I was asking this kid questions and she kept answering them.
She laughs at a lot of stuff I say, even when it isn’t funny.
I think we could be a good couple. I do great talking to her as a friend. But I can’t ask girls anything like phone numbers, etc.
I try to have self confidence but I always worry "What if they say no? I look like an idiot. The entire school will know. Etc."
Please, if you can, help me. I am tried of not getting the chance to talk to the girls I like… just because I am to afraid to do so.

Fear of rejection is what keeps most men single. Get over it! You’re going to get rejected. It happens. Who cares? At least you know that she can’t reject you again and it’s a name you can cross off your list of potential partners. Put the rejection on her. Make it about her. Maybe it’s a bad time for her, she’s probably got a lot going on and doesn’t have time for a relationship committment, or maybe she’s gay. Put the blame on her and move on.

visitation and custody for five month old, what to expect?
When I was four months pregnant my child father left me for a 17 year old. Not that age is a huge matter, but let me give you a little bit of history my and sons father went to nursing school together. When we graduated we started dating. He was married at the time(he lied about this) He married the first time when he was 15 years old to a girl who was nineteen, she was pregnant. He dropped out of school to work, but eventually went and got his GED. They divorced about a year and a half later when his son wasnt quite a year old. He next got married to his current wife when he was eighteen, she was also pregnant at the time, they had two sons together. He accused her of usinf illegal drugs while they were together and said that she cheated on him. Which is possible. They seperated when their children were 2 and 3. He left the children in her custody after he accused her of drugs use and inappropriate behavior. DHR eventually got involved and took the kids away from the mother, and gave the children to him. This all went on during the time we were in school. Of course he always made it out that he was the guitly party. So of course going in to the relationship I though he was a great guy who cared deeply for his children, I believe this for a long time. We were supposed to get married in april of 2009. I found out I was pregnant in novemeber of 2008. When I told him, he wanted me to have an abortion, threatened to leave me if I didnt. I took it as he was just upset, and would be ok. We were going to get married right? Wrong, things went downhill fast after that. he started leaving me alone with his sons while he did things that he needed to do. So I took care of his kids while working full time while he hunted, and went mudding with friends and partying. In january he broke up with me because he said I was moody, and had supposedly cheated on him. That the son I was carrying was not really his. He started dating a 17 yrs old a few weeks later. During the rest of my pregnancy he didnt want anything to do with me or my child. He would get drunk and want to come to my house and sleep with me, and me being the idiot I was let him twice. I didnt know that he had another GF at the time. When I had me son he was not there, he and his sister came and saw me and my son the next day. He did not want to be on the birth certificate and was still denying my son. At that point I had had enough. So i took steps and filed for paternity and CS order. He resisted and denied to everyone up untill he got the results that it wasnt his child. His girlfriend emailed me before we got the test results and told me that I was crazy and obsesivem, that the only reason I was claiming it was his child was because I desperatly wanted him backm, and if in the rare chance it was his, she informed me that I was to have NO CONTACT with him that he would just come get the baby on his weekends and that would be that. Well needless to say he is the dad, court ordered DNA test confirmed. Now all of a sudden he wants to settle everything out of court. He just wants his son on his weekends, to have joint custody, we need no communication, and he wants to settle for a lesser amount for CS, and doesnt want to pay any back support or any of the medical bills incured during labor and delivery. My son has never seen him, I told him that I would like for son to get to know dad before taking him. He told me that he was not able to come to my house, to see son and that he didnt want his other children around me. Everytime I have agreed to meet him somewhere, he doesnt show up, and doesnt call. Now he is threatening to take me for full custody of our son? I just really dont know what to do. Just wait untill court, we have a court date set for CS for dec 2nd, but not one for custody yet. What should I expect? Whats going to happen? Can he really get every other weekend from friday to monday with a 5 month old? I am being unreasonable asking him to get to know zane in a familiar enviorment before taking him by himself? oh by the way we both reside in alabama I am 25 and he is 27. This is his fourth son, he is still married to his second wife, and currently dating a 17 year old. We are both RNs. I live by myself with my son. He lives at his parents, with them his, brother, kids and girlfriend

You can’t make him take an interest in your child or make him see the child. You can, however, make him so his part to support the child. You will get a child support order. He will owe from the date of filing, not the date of birth of the child. You can ask for your medical expenses as well.

This is just the typical BS ex’s try. Just get a good lawyer. Document everything. If he calls you, record it. It’s a way to try to hurt you and control you. No judge is going to hand a baby over to a father he doesn’t even know. He doesn’t have to want to pay…the court will make him whether he wants to or not…You lived and you learned. Don’t let him get to you (easier said than done..I know). My ex was abusive and always threatened to take my kids away from me…in the end I have full custody and half his paycheck every two weeks…it doesn’t pay to be an a-hole and I think you’re ex is about to figure that out soon enough..stay strong

Honey, just let the courts handle all of this mess. With the living conditions he’s living with, I don’t see how any judge would even consider granting him custody of your son. NO WAY. I mean he isn’t even living in his OWN home, living w/others, married but living w/an underage "kid" himself at his parents home no less! There is absolutely NO sign of "stability" to his life style. Think about it! You are managing on your own, taking care of your baby, & from the sounds of it, doing OK for yourself. You are an R.N., which I KNOW make decent money as my daughter has been an R.N. for 23 yrs., she makes a nice decent living, as you must also. His lifestyle compared to yours sounds like a zoo! Let the courts handle the money situation, & knowing he IS the father, he no doubt WILL be ordered to pay some kind of back support. Don’t let any of them even attempt to scare you in any way. You have it "together", from the sounds of it, they do NOT. There’s nothing to lead me to believe you w/not come out OK on this, so don’t worry unnecessarily…best to you…:)

I just have a hard time believing that this is real. I would not be rude to you if this was real but if you are telling the truth….the child’s father doesn’t have aleg to stand on.
