I cannot take living with my mother. I'm considering moving cross country with a friend I've know for 2 years?
I’m 24 and he’s 65. We’ve never met in person but have talked on the phone everyday for 2 years. I know in my heart he is a good honest person that is trying to help me. I have no money and have been looking for a job for a year and a half. This is why I still live with my mother who I’ve never liked since I was 3. She is really a horrible person who gives everyone the impression that she is a great mother. In reality all she cares about is not having her kids make her look bad. I’ve been such a good daughter-I’ve never done drugs, I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, never had a boyfriend, never had sex, graduated 2nd in my class in high school and went NYU. She sheltered me all my life and never let me go out or have friends-first time I went to another kids house I was 12 and it was for a school project AND she went with me. Since I can remember she laid all her problems (with her family, my dad, personal problems) on me and treated me like a punching bag. ALL she does is complain. I am tired of being the dog she kicks around. I think for my own sanity the only thing I can do is get out and moving in with my good friend bill is my only alternative.
What do you think of this idea? There are days when I just don’t want to wake up. I can’t take it any longer.
So what do you all suggest I do then???
And I’ve been trying to get a job for a year and a half! Its not the best time to find one. I think you would know that unless you were living under a rock. My plan is to live with someone that I like and doesn’t give off a negative energy and keep looking for a job, even if I will have to depend on their charity in the beginning. That is what I’m doing now with someone that I all but hate.
btw, paternal grandparents are dead, maternal grandma is dying, paternal grandpa lives out of the country

Why is the film "Gigli" considered to be the worst movie of all time?

mainly the dialogue, and poor usage of two extremely iconic veteran actors later in the film. its not the worst movie ever made, not even close, but i’d never watch it again. not very memorable or interesting.

Because there was negativity surrounding the film before it came out, then it came out, and turned out to indeed be pretty bad. It is not, however, AS bad as people make it out to be. It was simply…made example of, so to speak.

I am a fan of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck… but this movie was just terrible, and made them both seem like bad actors. It’s hard to look at the same again - because this movie is so fresh in my mind.
The plot was pointless, weird, painfully slow, stupid.
The characters they played were unrealistic.
There are many pointless sex-related scenes that are awkward, have no chemistry and seem so scripted. They were so painful to watch, it was funny.
It’s no wonder they broke up soon after, lol.

Originally a black comedy with no romantic subplot, the producers demanded script rewrites throughout filming, hoping to cash in on the Lopez-Affleck romance that was big news in celebrity-watching publications of the time such as Us and People. This film only grossed $6 million, making it one of the biggest box office bombs of all time. Many especially avoided it because they thought it was just a vehicle for the Lopez-Affleck relationship. **** no they dont have any of it planned out. They go to places like online forums to investigate potential theories and write around that. These are made for ONLY money, there is no art behind these. Just because they got people in overcrowded LA to come in and halfass work, doesnt mean its a movie. But you people will think that as long as SAW is in the title, and you see Billy the puppets face.

You can meet up with him, and speak your peace but ultimately it’s how he responds to it. You can’t rush or try to put something that just isn’t meant to be. If it’s gonna happen then everything is going to come together and it will make flow. Being with someone isn’t or shouldn’t be a chore, it’s something that you just do, like second nature. Talk to him, and let him know what you want and if his actions don’t honor your wishes, move on. You did about all that you could and you know that you put it out there.
